Biography

Marc Niethammer is a professor of computer science at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (UNC) with a joint appointment in the Biomedical Research Imaging Center (BRIC) at UNC. His research is in biomedical image analysis with a particular focus on methods for statistical shape analysis, image segmentation, deformable image registration, and machine learning.
